2013: Rotary International
Die Berliner Friedensuhr 2013 ist am 18. Mai beim Rotary Global Peace Forum in Hiroshima in Japan an Rotary International verliehen worden. Da das Berliner Komitee für UNESCO-Arbeit e.V. satzungsgemäß nicht im Ausland aktiv werden darf, erfolgte die Vergabe in alleiniger Initiative durch Jens Lorenz. Der Initiator der Berliner Friedensuhr würdigte damit das langjährige und unermüdliche Wirken von Rotary International für Völkerverständigung und Frieden in der Welt. Die Uhr entgegengenommen hat der zu diesem Zeitpunkt amtierende Weltpräsident von Rotary International, Sakuji Tanaka.
